Ted & Judith Dziadkiewicz
After driving for Contiki in 1969, Ted started Bus Trek in the early 1970’s running camping tours around South America when no one else was doing it. By 1975 This venture graduated into Contours Travel and operating conventional tours. Today, after all these years of operating tours to Latin America, he is delighted to team up with John Anderson again to offer a series of small group journeys around South America based on the same ideals as those in the early days around Europe and with the same sense of fun.
John Anderson
At 23, John left New Zealand for a one-year trip to Europe. After extensively travelling through the East he arrived in London without the funds to tour Europe, but John not only found a way to see the continent, but to create his own business, Contiki Tours. When he sold the company it was firmly established as an international brand, and more than two million people have had the Contiki experience. All the elements that made Contiki so successful have been introduced into the Contours Collection, but adapted for mature travellers.
