We had a fantastic time. Everything went according to plan, the local representatives were always helpful and interesting to talk to, the accommodation was excellent, the actual travel from A to B was good, the food was of a very high standard, and the sights, of course, were always interesting.
Isla Suasi was lovely. We had the place to ourselves. The Tambopata was very interesting - we saw a lot of birds, a huge capybara and a jaguar! (Check out the picture).
The guides were extremely knowledgeable. The food at the Tambopata Research Centre was some of the best on the trip (after Central restaurant in Lima of course). Machu Picchu was even better than we expected.
The top 3 were Machu Picchu, the Jaguar and the Condors in Colca Canyon.
