We're back from our holidays now and just wanted you to know that we had a wonderful time and many great experiences.
Contours travel were great. Nice to know that in an unfamiliar country and our lack of Spanish, there was someone to meet you and take you to where you were supposed to be. All the guides and drivers were very friendly and helpful. We were particularly grateful for the Contours 'trouble shooter' at Lima Airport when we missed our plane. That's her full-time job as Lima airport is so crowded and it took us 11/2 hours to get from the queues through check-in, border and security checks to the gate.
Our memories are of many beautiful and varied environments - Cloud forest, the Amazon, Machu Picchu, the Uros islands.... and the colour and joy of people at events and of the happiness and friendliness of the people we met along the way.
