Flights were great, your seat selection was faultless - despite being economy, for most flights we had loads of legroom! Everyone was aware of our dietary restrictions and catered accordingly, so that was good... The hotels were great, comfy beds, friendly staff, clean bathrooms.
Reserva Amazonika was amazing. The room was awesome, the guides great and the experience was stunning. Good to have spent 3 nights there.
The Inca Trail was tiring but rewarding. The food was fantastic, our guide really took the time to brief us everyday and before the hike about what we were in for. The toilet situation for days 1-2 was fine when we had the portable toilet, but day 3 at the massive campsite was... less than ideal... But we managed.
The city tours were well interspersed in our itinerary, so a good intro and break to our hiking mission. We loved the second entry to Machu Picchu and the climb to Wayna Picchu. It was well worth it! The day to Rainbow Mountain was perfect and opting for the horse ride to the top was the right thing for us as hiking that 2 hours was possibly too much for us on our last day. But hiking back down was fine.
I think we are now hikers! Next stop Nepal???
Thanks for all your help and information. Highly recommend your services to anyone.
