In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Santiago and initially head
north for the day. Along the way, you will stop at a local eatery for a delicious lunch.
Afterwards you will hit the road and travel the outskirts of La Serena where you will find the perfect spot to stop and witness the total solar eclipse that will take place at
approximately 16:40 hrs. This will be the event, of all events and true spectacle of nature. There will be many people out and about enjoying themselves so a little patience might be required while moving around. After this unforgettable moment you will continue by following the coastline south relishing in the fresh Pacific breeze. At a certain moment during your journey you will stop to partake in a fulfilling dinner. At night, around 21:00 hrs. you will reach Pichidangui a small town known for its nice and tranquil beaches where it is common to see people practising water sports such as windsurfing and sailing.
After a lovely breakfast you will leave your surroundings and travel back to the heartland of Santiago where your journey will end.
