ITINERARY

Day 1 Buenos Aires

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and settle into one of Buenos Aires’ iconic neighborhoods—choose the elegance of Recoleta, the artsy vibe of San Telmo, or the lively energy of Palermo.

Day 2 Buenos Aires

Southern Buenos Aires: Culture & Colour
Dive into the soul of the city. Begin your day at Plaza de Mayo and Casa Rosada, then stroll cobblestone streets through bohemian San Telmo. Marvel at the colorful houses of Caminito in La Boca, and enjoy waterfront dining in Puerto Madero.
Spend your afternoon at leisure—or go beyond the guidebooks. Ask us about immersive tours like:
• Hidden tunnels beneath the city
• A curated Buenos Aires Art Walk
• A Jewish heritage tour
• Visits to historic cafés or an architectural deep dive

Day 3 Buenos Aires

Northern Buenos Aires & Tango Magic
Explore Recoleta Cemetery, then wander Palermo’s leafy boulevards, chic boutiques, and vibrant cafes.
In the evening, let the rhythm of tango sweep you away with a lesson, dinner, and an unforgettable live performance.

Day 4 Buenos Aires/Iguazu Falls

A change of pace and scenery.
Fly north of Argentina to Iguazu, where the subtropical jungle welcomes you. Settle in and relax—or join a hands-on empanada cooking class and discover the flavors of Argentine cuisine firsthand.

Day 5 Iguazu Falls

The Argentine Side of Iguazu Falls
Nature’s power and beauty, up close. Explore the sprawling trails of Iguazu National Park and feel the spray from the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat. Optional adventures await—take a heart-pounding boat ride beneath the cascades or a 4WD safari through the surrounding jungle.

Day 6 Foz do Iguacu/Rio de Janeiro

Brazil’s Panoramic View & Onward to Rio
Two countries, one natural wonder. Cross the border to Brazil for sweeping vistas of all 275 waterfalls from the Brazilian side of the park. Walk the scenic trails, stand just 150m from Devil’s Throat for a breathtaking finale, or elevate your experience—literally—with an optional helicopter flight.
Later, fly to Rio de Janeiro, the city of sun, samba, and soaring mountains.

Day 7 Rio de Janeiro

Iconic Rio de Janeiro
A city that dazzles from every angle. Start your full-day tour at the towering Christ the Redeemer atop Corcovado Mountain, where sweeping views await. After a classic Brazilian BBQ lunch, ride the cable car to Sugarloaf Mountain and watch the sun cast golden light over the city and sea.

Day 8 Rio de Janeiro

Explore Rio Your Way
Adventure, culture, or relaxation—today is yours. Wander the city’s lush Botanical Gardens, dive into the future at the Museum of Tomorrow, or join a dynamic percussion class. For more active travellers, we can arrange guided bike rides, a via ferrata, or scenic hikes through Rio’s vibrant neighborhoods and hillsides.

Day 9 Rio de Janeiro/Lima

Fly across the continent to Lima, Peru
From beachside beats to coastal history. Arrive in Lima and check in to your hotel. Unwind after your flight with a pisco cocktail class or a candlelit dinner overlooking pre-Inca ruins—an elegant fusion of old and new.

Day 10 Lima

Discover Lima’s Rich Heritage
A city of contrasts, cuisine, and culture. Explore Lima’s colonial heart, including the Plaza Mayor and cathedral, then visit seaside districts like Miraflores and Barranco. Wrap up your day at the world-class Larco Museum—or ask us about private culinary and art experiences to go deeper.

Day 11 Lima/Sacred Valley

Journey to the heart of the Andes.
Fly to Cuzco, then descend into the Sacred Valley—an ideal spot to acclimatize gently to the altitude (2,700m.a.s.l.) before moving up to the more challenging heights of Cuzco (3,400m.a.s.l.).
Scattered along the Sacred Valley are beautiful towns framed by mountain vistas and Inca terraces, with a range of handpicked hotels to suit every style—whether you’re after boutique charm, spa indulgence, or immersive local flair.

Day 12 Sacred Valley

A full-day tour through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, including the picturesque village of Chinchero where you can learn about ancient weaving techniques. Afterwards, explore Ollantaytambo village and fortress, one of the most monumental architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire.

Day 13 Sacred Valley

Today is all about you. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline, cultural connection, or jaw-dropping landscapes, we’ve got options to match your travel style.
Active: Go full throttle with a Via Ferrata climb and zipline, mountain biking, kayaking, white-water rafting, or stand-up paddleboarding on Andean lakes.
Cultural: Visit a local Quechua community, join a traditional weaving workshop, explore a colorful local market, or take a deeper dive into history with a guided visit to Ollantaytambo.
Scenic & Photogenic: Capture unforgettable views at the circular Inca terraces of Moray, walk through the surreal Maras salt flats, or explore the charming highland town of Chinchero.
Your day is fully customizable—mix and match activities, or let us design a perfect blend based on your interests.

Day 14 Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu

The Magic of Machu Picchu
A moment you’ll never forget. Travel by scenic Vistadome train to Machu Picchu—or choose the Express Inca Trail, a half-day trek that rewards you with a dramatic arrival through the Sun Gate. Explore the legendary citadel with a guide, then unwind in the charming town of Aguas Calientes.
Looking for a different route? We offer alternate hikes and premium train options too.

Day 15 Machu Picchu/Cuzco

Sunrise Moments & Return to Cuzco
One last look at a wonder of the world. Return to Machu Picchu in the quiet morning hours for more personal exploration. Want a new perspective? Hike up to Huayna Picchu for sweeping views over the citadel. In the afternoon, board the train back to Cuzco and settle in for the night.

Day 16 Cuzco

Highlights of Historic Cuzco
Where colonial meets Inca. Discover Cuzco’s layered history with a guided tour through Plaza de Armas, the grand Cathedral, and the sacred Koricancha Temple. Step just outside the city to marvel at the imposing stonework of Sacsayhuaman, once a key ceremonial site of the Inca Empire.

Day 17 Cuzco

A Free Day to Make Your Own
Cuzco, your way. Savor your final day in the Andes however you choose—try a Peruvian cooking class, visit one of the city’s nine museums, or hike to Rainbow Mountain for those seeking a challenge. From hands-on workshops to scenic treks, we’ll help you craft a day that’s uniquely yours.

Day 18 Cuzco/Puno

Journey to Lake Titicaca
From highlands to high lakes. Travel across the windswept altiplano to Puno, nestled on the shores of mystical Lake Titicaca. Choose a scenic overland bus route with cultural stops—or upgrade to the luxurious Belmond Andean Explorer overnight train for a truly memorable ride through the Andes.

Day 19 Puno

Life on the Floating Islands
A lake like no other. Cruise across Lake Titicaca to the famous Uros floating islands, built entirely of totora reeds. Want to dive deeper? Visit the more remote Taquile or Amantani Islands to learn firsthand about these resilient communities and their rich traditions.
Ask us about overnight stays—either in a welcoming local homestay or a boutique island lodge with lake views.

Day 20 Puno/La Paz

Bolivia Awaits: Copacabana & Sun Island
Sacred waters, sacred stories. Cross into Bolivia and explore the lakeside town of Copacabana before boarding a catamaran to Sun Island, birthplace of the Inca sun god. Wander ancient ruins, witness a traditional Andean ceremony, and learn how reed boats are still made today.
After lunch onboard, continue by road to La Paz—or opt for an unforgettable overnight stay on Sun Island or aboard the catamaran.

Day 21 La Paz

La Paz: High Altitude Culture
A city like no other, perched among the clouds. Begin with a guided walking tour through La Paz’s vibrant street markets—where you’ll find everything from handwoven textiles to mystical “witches’ market” potions. Then journey to the surreal landscapes of the Valley of the Moon, where wind and time have sculpted otherworldly formations.

Day 22 La Paz/Santiago de Chile

Into Chile: Onward to Santiago
From Andes to vineyards. Today, fly south to Santiago, Chile’s sophisticated capital. Prefer to explore Bolivia further? Ask us about extending your journey to the surreal salt flats of Uyuni or the colonial charms of Sucre.

Day 23 Santiago de Chile

Discover Santiago de Chile
A city of art, energy, and elegance. Dive into Santiago’s rich blend of old and new. Visit top museums, enjoy panoramic views from San Cristobal Hill, and wander through the lively, artistic Lastarria district. Want to explore further? We can arrange a day trip to the vibrant port city of Valparaiso or a wine tasting in the famed Casablanca Valley.

Day 24 Santiago de Chile

Farewell or Further Adventures
Your journey ends—or just begins again. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, or extend your adventure to one of South America’s most iconic destinations.
• Easter Island: Step into one of the world’s most remote and mysterious places. Located over 3,500 km into the Pacific, Easter Island offers a surreal landscape of volcanic craters, windswept beaches, and the iconic moai statues. Spend a few days uncovering ancient Rapa Nui culture, exploring lava tunnels, and watching the sunrise over Ahu Tongariki. Flights available from Santiago.
• Patagonia: For nature lovers and adventurers. Fly south to Chilean or Argentine Patagonia, where dramatic glaciers, jagged peaks, and pristine wilderness await. Hike the legendary trails of Torres del Paine, cruise past ice-blue glaciers, or simply soak in the stillness of the far south. Custom itineraries available based on your preferred pace and comfort level.
