You did an awesome job with the itinerary and we have been having a wonderful time. Everything has been going to plan and the Colombian Journeys guides and drivers have been excellent. Even talked them into an unscheduled visit to the gold museum this afternoon.
We loved our cooking class that you organised. Got on really well with Nellie the Colombian grandma have did the class.
Bambusa was the highlight. Not a lot of guests. Only 5 the first night, 9 the second which included 6 travel agents from US and only us the last night.
But the big surprise put on a free short hot air balloon ride. They had organised it for the travel agents but they insisted that we had a ride as well. Even the staff got a turn.
Tourism isn’t back to normal yet but everything is open and they are so enthusiastic. We have been pleasantly surprised how seriously they take Covid precautions. Most people are still wearing masks even though mandate was lifted a week ago.
