our trip was excellent and in particular, I must commend the performance of the representatives of Latin America Travel from the time we landed in Havana to when we departed Mexico City. Their greeting representatives, guides and drivers, were without exception, highly efficient, very communicative, knowledgeable and punctual.
The quality of the accommodation overall was good. Just a few comments in this regard - in Havana the Florida was well located but quality wise within this price bracket I think Hotel Raquel may be a preferred option from our observations.
In Santa Clara, the hostel Florida Center was excellent and in Mexico City, Zocalo Central was fantastic - A1 location, good service & beautifully presented - a great place to finish our holiday prior to heading back home.
For anyone even slightly interested in its history, Cuba is well worth a visit & I think the time we allocated & destinations we covered was about right.
