Day 2 Torres del Paine/Estancia Cerro Guido
These are some of the excursions available.
Torres del Paine: This excursion will take us along the paths that run through part of the 1,814 km2 of the Torres del Paine National Park. From views of the Southern Ice Field to the pampas and its fauna, we will explore the diverse landscapes that this biosphere reserve offers us.
Wild Life and Heritage: This excursion allows you to know the heart of the Estancia, its history, traditions, and how we work for the coexistence between Livestock and Wildlife Conservation.
The Bosquecito Viewpoint: This experience offers the ideal alternative to discover the natural beauty that surrounds the estancia.
Day 3 Torres del Paine/Estancia Cerro Guido
Another day in Estancia Cerro Guido. These are some of the excursions available.
Base of the Towers Lookout: One of the classic walks in Patagonia and the main attraction of the national park. Every year trekkers from all over the world put themselves to the test in this intense challenge. For those who want to spend a day in the mountains of Torres del Paine, this experience will undoubtedly be worth it.
Laguna Los Flamencos; A privileged place for bird watching: it is common to see groups of Chilean flamingos and a great diversity of ducks, geese, and rheas, among others.
Sierra Baguales: This region constitutes the natural border between Chile and Argentina. The word Baguales, a Creole from Patagonia, refers to the herds of horses and cows that escaped from the ranches a long time ago and returned to the wild. Mysterious and lonely, this mountain range fascinates with its strange peaks.
Estancia Cerro Guido: Explore by horseback, taking in panoramic views of Patagonia’s mountains and lakes. Enjoy a traditional Patagonian lamb roast and learn about the history and culture of the estancia, including sheep farming and daily life. This full-day tour is perfect for all experience levels.
Day 4 Torres del Paine/Estancia Cerro Guido
Another full day to explore Estancia Cerro Guido.
Las Chinas Lookout: On this excursion, you travel by vehicle towards the Las Chinas Valley, a wild and little-explored place, located in the northeast sector of the estancia. The journey is conducive to observing the typical Patagonian wildlife with views of the majestic Sierra Baguales.
Chenque Cerro Guido: The hill that gives our ranch its name, Cerro Guido, with its 1275 m. high, offers an exceptional panorama. El Chenque is a typical funerary monument of the Aonikenk, a native people of Patagonia, who buried their deceased under a large pile of stones, on top of the hills. The Cerro Guido Chenque, the highest in Patagonia, constitutes a valuable vestige of this disappeared culture.
Overland 4WD Adventure: Riding our 4WD and equipped for a day of exploration, we will go out to discover part of the 100,000 hectares of the territory of Estancia Cerro Guido. In an off-road adventure, we will go through fields, gaucho stalls, and the nature that surrounds us.
Day 5 Depart Estancia Cerro Guido
After breakfast and check-out, free feel to wander about and enjoy the estancia before your transfer to the next destination.
