ITINERARY

Day 1 San Jose

Arrive San Jose Airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 San Jose

Depart this morning for Poas Volcano, visiting Doka Coffee Estate en route for a chance to taste some delicious Costa Rican coffee and learn about the process of cultivating, harvesting and roasting. At Poas Volcano you can admire the impressive main crater with its sulphur fumaroles. Afterwards we continue to La Paz Waterfall Gardens for lunch and a tour of the rainforest and falls.

Day 3 San Jose/Arenal Volcano

Shuttle transfer to Arenal. This afternoon you’ve got a thrilling Sky Tram and Trek zipline tour with panoramic views of Arenal Volcano and jungle canopy. The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 2.7 kilometres with a maximum height of 200 metres.

Day 4 Arenal Volcano

Today’s full-day will show you the best of this action-packed region. Start with a visit to Arenal’s Hanging Bridges for a 3km walk through the rainforest canopy. Next, head to La Fortuna Waterfall for an inviting dip in the cool waters. Lunch is included before we head to Arenal Volcano for a walk through the rainforest to reach a lava lookout point. Finally, drive to Tabacon Hot Springs to soak in the natural pools and enjoy dinner in this beautiful setting.

Day 5 Arenal Volcano/Manuel Antonio

Shuttle transfer to the famous Manuel Antonio National Park, considered to be Costa Rica’s most beautiful park, with enchanting white-sand beaches ideal for swimming, and tropical rainforest forest alive with wildlife

Day 6 Manuel Antonio

Experience Costa Rica’s striking coastline and abundant marine life on today’s kayak and snorkel tour. Paddle Biezans Bay for a refreshing swim and local snacks. Your guide will show you where to snorkel to explore the coral reef. After some time to relax we’ll paddle back and enjoy a hearty lunch.

Day 7 Manuel Antonio/San Jose

Guided hike through the National Park for the chance to see sloths, monkeys and tropical bird species. Later this afternoon, take a shuttle transfer to San Jose.

Day 8 San Jose

Transfer back to San Jose after breakfast to connect with your onward flight.
