Day 2 Quito
Enjoy a leisurely morning. In the afternoon, embark on a guided walking tour through Quito’s UNESCO-listed colonial centre, visiting key landmarks including El Ejido Park, the Basilica, Plaza de la Independencia, and La Compañía de Jesús. Optionally, travel to the equator line and visit the Middle of the World monument.
Day 3 Quito
Take a day trip to Otavalo, home to one of Latin America’s most famous textile markets. Explore Peguche village and enjoy lunch at a local hacienda before returning to Quito.
Day 4 Quito/Baños
Journey south through the Avenue of the Volcanoes. Stop at Cotopaxi National Park and explore Limpiopungo Lagoon. Visit a traditional Indigenous market en route to Baños, where you’ll take a short city tour upon arrival.
Day 5 Baños/Riobamba
Discover Baños’ dramatic waterfalls and lush surroundings. Visit “Manto de la Novia” and the thundering “Pailón del Diablo”, before continuing through scenic highlands to Riobamba.
Day 6 Riobamba/Cuenca
An early start for the dramatic view of the Devil’s Nose engineering marvel. Later, visit Ingapirca, Ecuador’s best-preserved Inca ruins, before arriving in the charming colonial city of Cuenca.
Day 7 Cuenca
Explore Cuenca’s colonial heritage on a half-day city tour. Highlights include the Cathedral, Panama Hat factory, and vibrant flower market.
Day 8 Cuenca/Guayaquil
Travel west via El Cajas National Park, a landscape of lakes and cloud forest. Arrive in Guayaquil and enjoy an evening at leisure.
Day 9 Guayaquil/Galapagos Islands
Fly to the archipelago and board your chosen vessel – select from various cruise classes and itineraries to match your preferences.
Day 10 Galapagos Islands
Explore volcanic landscapes, encounter iconic wildlife, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, and visit research centres. Each day brings new opportunities to discover the biodiversity of the islands.
Day 11 Galapagos Islands
Hike to Punta Suárez’s seabird colonies before swimming in the turquoise waters of Gardner Bay.
Day 12 Galapagos Islands/Guayaquil
Learn about conservation efforts before flying back to Guayaquil, with evening at leisure.
Day 13 Guayaquil/Lima
After your flight to Peru, tour Lima’s historic center and the renowned Larco Museum with its pre-Columbian treasures.
Day 14 Lima
Day at leisure. Choose from a range of optional experiences—perhaps a Peruvian cooking class, visit to the Pachacamac Ruins, or cycling in bohemian Barranco.
Day 15 Lima/Sacred Valley
Fly to Cuzco and descend into the Sacred Valley, the perfect place to adjust to the altitude and begin your journey into Inca heritage.
Day 16 Sacred Valley
Full-day tour to Chinchero and the impressive Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo. Optional activities, such as a weaving workshop or visit to Maras & Moray, can be included.
Day 17 Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu
Travel by train to Machu Picchu and enjoy a guided exploration of the Lost City of the Incas. Lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge before overnighting in nearby Aguas Calientes.
Day 18 Machu Picchu/Cuzco
Return for further exploration of Machu Picchu at your own pace. In the afternoon, train back to Cuzco.
Day 19 Cuzco

Travel through the Andes by bus to Puno. Along the way, visit remote towns and highland scenery including the pass at Abra La Raya (4321m).
Day 22 Puno
Explore the floating Uros Islands, crafted from totora reeds. Optional visit to Taquile Island for stunning lake views and a deeper insight into traditional life.
Day 23 Puno/La Paz
Cross the border into Bolivia via Copacabana. Enjoy a scenic boat ride to Sun Island before continuing by road to La Paz. Option to extend with an overnight on Sun Island, at a locally run Eco Lodge.
Day 24 La Paz
Morning tour of Bolivia’s quirky capital, visiting the Valley of the Moon and Witches’ Market. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 25 La Paz/Uyuni
Fly to Uyuni and begin your adventure across the iconic Salt Flats. Highlights include Incahuasi Island and the Tunupa Volcano. Overnight in a Salt Hotel.

A scenic bus journey takes you across the Andes into Argentina’s northwest, arriving in Salta, renowned for its colonial charm.
Day 30 Salta
Leisure day in Salta. Visit the fascinating Museum of High Mountain Archaeology or enjoy a relaxing stroll through the city’s leafy plazas.
Day 31 Salta
An excursion to one of Argentina’s picturesque wine regions unfolds today, traveling through the stunning Quebrada de Cafayate with its vibrant rock formations. The destination is Cafayate, a colonial town nestled in the Calchaquies Valley, where traditionally dressed gauchos and local artisanal products can be observed. Return to Salta or option to extend the stay with an overnight in a beautiful wine lodge in Cafayate.
Day 32 Salta/Puerto Iguazu
Morning at leisure. Fly to Puerto Iguazu and transfer to your hotel.
Day 33 Puerto Iguazu
A full-day exploration of the Argentine side of Iguazú National Park reveals the immense power and beauty of these magnificent falls. The tour encompasses the Upper and Lower trails, culminating at the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat. An optional adventure includes a thrilling speedboat ride to the base of the falls and a 4WD journey through the surrounding jungle.
Day 34 Puerto Iguazu/Buenos Aires
This morning visit the Brazilian side of the falls for the best panoramic view of the magnificent falls before flying to Buenos Aires. Alternatively, extend your stay with a detour to the Ibera Wetlands.
Day 35 Buenos Aires
