ITINERARY

Day 1 Salvador

Upon your arrival, our team will greet you and provide a transfer to your selected hotel.

Day 2 Salvador

Depart on a morning walking tour of the UNESCO Heritage Listed centre. Explore Salvador’s African roots, evident in its music, dance, cuisine, and culture. During the evening, enjoy a folkloric ballet at the Miguel Santana Theatre.

Day 3 Salvador/Chapada Diamantina

Wake up this morning and travel by bus to Lencois (6 hours) or take a direct flight (Thu and Sun only). On arrival, settle in your hotel, and in the afternoon, you will take a walking tour to Serrano pools and the ‘Cachoeira da Primaveira’ waterfall.

Day 4 Chapada Diamantina

This morning, visit Lapa Doce Cave, discovered in 1986. It covers an area of 20 km, with 850 metres open to the public for the walk. This cave is the second largest in Brazil, with impressive limestone formations. After this visit, you will continue to Pratinha, swimming in crystal clear waters. Finish your day trip at Pai Inacio table mountain for picture postcard views and a stunning sunset.

Day 5 Chapada Diamantina

Start your day with a beautiful trail. This morning you will be transferred to one of the many trailheads that this national park has. Hike up the hill for spectacular views of the valley and the mountain scenery; do not miss the opportunity to take a breathtaking photo. Continue to ‘Cachoeira do Fumaca’ or the smoking waterfall. This gorgeous waterfall is 340 metres tall and creates a thick mist of spray, hence the name.
